It was one of the highlights of the trip. The boat guide spoke fluent English along with several other languages. Be ready for a 'turbulant' ride : ) to catch a glimpse of marine mammals including sea lions, otters and a great variety of marine birds including gulls and humbolt Penguins. Other boat trips offer opportunities for watching dolphins and whales - I hope to look into that on my next trip. posted by Karima at 8:26 AM 0 comments posted by Karima at 8:23 AM 0 comments posted by Karima at 8:22 AM 0 comments posted by Karima at 8:21 AM 0 comments posted by Karima at 8:20 AM 0 comments Coquimbo offers a beautiful drive or bike ride or jog by the Port along, long sandy beaches inhabited by seagulls. You'll see fishermen around the coast harvesting shellfish and collecting seaweed used for direct consumption and for export. Along this stretch you'll also find a growing number of fancy restaurants including the Coquimbo Casino. Enjoy the seafood! posted by Karima at 8:19 AM 0 comments posted by Karima at 8:16 AM 0 comments posted by Karima at 8:09 AM 0 comments posted by Karima at 7:52 AM 0 comments posted by Karima at 7:50 AM 0 comments Saturday, July 16, 2005 posted by Karima at 10:33 PM 0 comments posted by Karima at 10:32 PM 0 comments posted by Karima at 10:31 PM 0 comments posted by Karima at 10:30 PM 0 comments
